Founded in 2013, Atelier & Co. is a London-based interior design studio led by Creative Director Isabelle Marsh. We believe that the best interiors are deeply personal, quietly considered, and built to last.
Atelier & Co. was born from a conviction that exceptional design should never feel decorative for its own sake. Every space we create has to work — for the people living in it, for the way light moves through it across the seasons, for the rituals and rhythms of daily life. We are a small team of seven designers, sourcing specialists, and project managers, and we intend to stay that way. Our size is our strength: it means every client receives the principal designer's full attention from brief to final styling, and it means we can be rigorous and unhurried in our thinking. We work with the best craftspeople, upholsterers, ceramicists, and joiners across Europe, many of whom we have collaborated with for years. These relationships allow us to create truly bespoke interiors — pieces you will not find in any showroom.
Isabelle studied Interior Architecture at the RCA before spending five years at award-winning studios in Milan and Copenhagen. She founded Atelier & Co. in 2013 with a singular focus: creating interiors that feel both elevated and entirely lived-in. Her work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, and House & Garden, and she has been shortlisted for the Andrew Martin International Designer of the Year Award three times.
We believe that what you leave out is as important as what you put in. We never over-furnish, over-accessorise, or over-specify. Every element must earn its place.
We work exclusively with makers who share our commitment to quality — hand-stitched upholstery, kiln-dried solid timber, hand-applied plaster finishes. The difference is felt, not just seen.
We design for the long term. Trends pass; great material choices and well-proportioned rooms endure. We ask what a space will look like in twenty years, not just at the photoshoot.
